Are you looking after your health?

Hello,

I hope you are well… October is upon us… and it’s quite the month for campaigns…

Menopause Awareness Month

Sober October

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Lupus Awareness Month

ADHD Awareness Month

To name just a few of the health-related ones!!

And I am adding my own… The Healing Rebel Awareness Month

If you have been following me for a while, you may be aware that I am on a mission to help people live healthy and vibrant lives through listening to their bodies, nourishing their bodies (food, drinks, movement, rest, breath work, time in nature, lymphatic drainage work etc).

Even if (like me) you live with a chronic health condition (or a few), there are many things that you can do to support your health, enhance your vitality, and reduce the symptoms of conditions – even when medical people tell you that you can’t…

YOU CAN! I know, I am living that way, even though I have been told all that I can do is take the meds they prescribe (which often are bandaids on bullet holes… They are not dealing with the root cause of what’s going on in your body.

When I did my Sport & Exercise Science degree, I never considered that what I was learning would be useful in managing chronic inflammatory conditions that I would be living with… I was fit and healthy!! Or so I thought…

I now use those skills, knowledge, and my own personal experience to work out the finer details. To be able to look at the details and make small tweaks that can have a big impact…

There are really simple things that we can do that have powerful impacts on our health and wellbeing.

That’s what I teach you in my The Healing Rebel Course…

Whether you have PMS, menopause symptoms, allergies, autoimmune conditions, cancer, or other ‘modern’ diseases, they all start from chronic inflammation that’s not being addressed.

You might not even be aware that you are chronically inflamed until you get a diagnosis…

I had a conversation recently with a consultant doctor friend who is teaching her surgical colleagues about looking to sport & exercise science for pathways in how to help their patients better. Prevention is better than the cure – no chronic health condition at this time even has a cure. Prehab enhances recovery and improves the chances of better outcomes for the patient. How can they as doctors, get their patients as strong and healthy as possible?

I love that this conversation is happening… I would love it even more if it spread like wildfire and became the normal conversation rather than a few voices trying to convince the majority about stuff they were never taught in medical school.

While we wait for the health service to catch up (or collapse under the strain), we have to take responsibility for ourselves.

And really, we shouldn’t be waiting for them to catch up. We should be taking responsibility for ourselves. The NHS was set up for (and is excellent at) dealing with acute issues – broken bones, heart attacks, not chronic illness…

Are you ready to take responsibility for your health? Do you want to cut down the number of times you have to call the doctor? Do you want to feel in control of your health?

If you are ready to be empowered, then The Healing Rebel course is just what you need, and I have revamped the pricing and access… For just £15 per month, you get immediate access to 10 modules, with more to come over the months ahead.
