How to clear your head

Hello,

I hope you have had a good weekend. I love when we get these clear blue skies and fresh cold weather. I am not a fan when it clouds over and gets damp! And my body lets me know about it’s dislike too… 

It’s at this time of year many of us get cold’s and flu, and it’s not because they decide to ramp up at this time of year, but that our environment changes and these bugs get to multiply!

Central heating dries out the air in your room, drying out your body which dehydrates the protective mucus layers  that would normally stop the bugs in their tracks (we should definitely be taking on more fluids when we turn up the thermostat!)… 

I know (from conversations) that the suggestion to not have your heating on/turned up is not a popular suggestion.. 

Another reason is, we tend to spend more time indoors, which often means we are moving our bodies less. When we move our body less, the lymphatic system doesn’t flow as well, also contributing to us getting sick more… 

SO, I will offer an alternative to help move on the bugs… 

A head and neck lymphatic flush (you should be able to see a speeded up version in the video below).
