Movement is medicine!
Midlife can come with a special selection of challenges. Many women I start working with have lost connection to themselves, feel disempowered, like failures, have lost confidence, and feel like old ladies. They want to get back into exercise but feel ashamed of stepping into a gym; they are used to being busy and resent the forced 'take it easy' time. They want to be able to do activities they used to not even think about doing.
We want to feel vibrant as we enter our golden years, and we can if we do something about it.
My clients who are 60+ are my inspiration to move more. They have great mobility, strength, stamina, and balance and are living life to the fullest - hillwalking, skiing, running about after grandkids... They are amazing. Why? Because they have been coming to my classes for over a decade, they are the rebels who will not get old and frail.
My other clients, the ones with long-term health conditions, IBD (like myself), or have arthritis, MS, CFS/ME, osteoporosis or hypermobility, among other conditions, are rebelling against the prognosis that their health is just going to deteriorate. They are pushing back and showing those doctors what can be done.

One to One Coaching
One-to-one sessions are perfect if you are dealing with a specific movement issue, you need help with breath work, my class timetable doesn’t suit you, you don’t feel confident joining a class and want to learn the basics before joining, or you prefer personal attention.
Sessions are hosted online via Zoom or at my private home studio in Springburn.
You have the flexibility of 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions from £32. Each session is designed to help you achieve your goal, and I provide videos of the exercises we cover in your session for your home practice. You can book individual sessions and pay as you go or book a block of time and split it as you need.
I work with clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays around my class timetable. If you have a specific day and time that fits your schedule for regular sessions, please email me at jen@iamjenwilson.com before booking to ensure availability.
Pilates & Yoga Classes
Pilates classes are hosted online and in person at my private home studio in Springburn. In-person classes have a maximum of 6 participants for a tailored experience.
Pilates In Person The next 7-week block starts Tuesday 13th Aug at 615pm and is £70.

All via Zoom, and the class is tailored to each session to suit the class’s needs. Online classes are £42 per month for unlimited access and full access to Pilates & Yoga at Home, to accommodate my down weeks.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to start your Pilates & Yoga practice, or you are returning to exercise after illness, injury or prolonged time off, or you are a class regular looking for extra sessions to do in your own time, or on holiday between your regular classes. I have a class to suit you.
Pilates & Yoga at home is only £15/month and has over 200 classes for you to choose from. Short sessions to help get you started include posture reset, seated fitness, Pilates Blast, mobility, beginner strength and mindful movement through to full-length classes.
Healthy Knees, Healthy Spin, Healthy Hips Masterclasses, as well as Foot Mobility & Strength, Posture Reset & Strength and Pilates for Beginners courses included.
Debbie's Story
Debbie in her mid 50’s first came to me in May 2023 looking to build confidence in her movements so she could start going back to group classes. Debbie is autistic, has low grade asthma, high choleserol, arthritis and connective tissue disease, hypermobile. low back pain caused by prolapsed discs and suffers with depression and anxiety. Through her younger years she had loved going to the gym, being active and fit and was upset with the limitations of her movement, suggestions from the doctors and hospital were making her worse. We initially worked together 1:1 to assess what she was able to do, what movements felt good, what didn’t feel good, where her body was tight and where the hypermobility was allowing her to move too far and causing issues. Building confidence in her own body, in her movements, and strengthening her body so she could move without pain was a priority. Within 3 months she felt confident to come along to an inperson Pilates beginners class with me and also got me along to her place of work to run a fortnightly Yoga class for herself and others living with neurodivergence.
Kirsty's Story
Kirsty, now in her late 50’s first came to Pilates beginners back in 2011, she was very quiet and shy in class, at the end of the first course, she asked if it was okay for her to do the beginners course again to build more confidence. Over the years she has attended at least 2 classes per week both when we were in person before 2020 and online since 2020 and been keen for her friends and people she knew who would benefit to come along to class - she even used to pop in past her pharmacist to bring him and his wife along to class. She had chronic pain in her hips, osteoporosis and arthritis and didn’t want any of these to hold her back. She loves cycling, swimming, playing tennis, going for walks and being by the sea. Because of the osteoporosis and arthritis she ended up needing to have both her hips replaced. But she used a regular Pilates practice with me at my live online classes and using my Pilates & Yoga at home videos as part of her pre-habilitaion for her surgeries and also for the rehabilitation which got her back up and moving around quickly. Since having had both hips replaced and her regular Pilates classes she has also been attending circus classes using silks and ariel hoops. If anyone in class is looking for a challenging option for class it’s Kirsty.
